One of the big questions today is: what is happening in education that our youth are lacking the critical life skills necessary to meet the demanding and complex world of the 21st century?
There is a global cry for education systems able to prepare competent professionals and whole citizens with “habits of mind” and human qualities that enable them to develop and grow as human beings and empathetic and competent leaders.
I believe our current problems require an approach derived from what the Arts and Humanities tell us about providing solid and innovative responses to the challenges we face in the new century.
